Parkview Children experience learning and worship through interactive stories, games,
songs and activities in large and small groups. Children 4 years old through fifth grade meet for age-appropriate Sunday School and Children’s Church each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30. Children meet in their own special worship area in the lower level of the church!
Nursery and Toddler classes for infants through 3 years of age meet on the main level of the church in an area furnished just for them!
Children also meet in the lower level from 6:30-7:30 on Wednesday evenings.
Nursery and Toddler care is available on Wednesday evenings.
Our Children’s Ministries department uses the 252 basics curriculum.
The material encourages our children to dig
deeper into Bible truths and challenge them to use those truths in their day-to-day lives.
We can’t wait to see our children learn and grow in their walk with Jesus and each other!
It takes many people to provide a warm, welcoming, worshipful experience for our Parkview kids! If you love working with kids or enjoy crafts, music, planning and organizing, set design, decorating….no matter what your gifts and talents are, we have a spot for you! Please see Donna Cox to get connected with our children's ministry team.
The Parkview Church Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings.
They meet in the Fellowship hall at 6pm to eat, followed by a time of worship and bible study in the Parkview Community Center. There is pick-up available at Forest Hills apartments at 5:45, and drop-off after the program.
Our adult ministries reflect our church's values. There is always something going on at Parkview to get people together!
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM there are opportunities for Adults to gather together and study the Bible, a book or a topic. There are a variety of classes available.
We have small groups meeting throughout the county. Our goal is for everyone to be involved in this vital ministry.
The women at Parkview have activities throughout the year, see the events calendar for special events.
On the second Thursday every month (except December, January and February), our own group of Prime-timers host a group from the Brown County Health and Living Center. They treat them to a homemade, delicious lunch!
On the second Tuesday of every month from 10:00-2:00, a group of women get together to make baby quilts to be given both locally and taken around the world by missionaries. They have a lot of fun! Bring a sack lunch if you plan to join them.
Brown County Garden Community
We have sunny plots in our fenced-in garden for individuals to tend. If you are interested in a plot, contact us.
Other Ways we Serve
We love to serve the children of our community by involving the entire congregation in the greatest Bible School. We are the county drop off location for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. Our Kitchen Crew hosts regular dinners for the Lions Club in our Fellowship Hall. We have a community Trunk R Treat in our parking lot for Halloween, and host Red Cross community blood drives five times a year.
